01.04.2021 Aydın Commodity Exchange Attended to the Planting of Fig Scion Event

Aydın Commodity Exchange participated in the ''Fig Awakening'' Fig Scion Planting Activity Programme organized by Fig Research Institute Directorate.

Incir Scion Planting activity programme that is organized by the Fig Research Institute within the scope of the certified twig procurement to the producers attended  Aydın Commodity Exchange Assembly Speaker A. Bahri Erdel, Vice Chairman Cengiz Ülgen and Board Member Kazım Günaydın.

The event, organized with the participation of public and non- governmental organizations, started with the opening speech of Sabahattin Abay, Director of Fig Research Institute. The programme went on with a speech by Songül Çilingir, Assistant Director of the Aydın Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, with the presentation of Dr. Birgül Ertan, Technical Coordinator of the Fig Research Institute, on the R&D activities of the institute. Following the presentations, fig scion was planted in the sapling production area. The event ended with a tour of the institute'S R&D field and a souvenir photo. 

A. Bahri Erdel, Speaker of Aydın Commodity Exchange, thanked everyone who contributed to the plant's first plant that took place this year with the motto ''The Awakening of Fig.''
