01.11.2024 Aydın Commodity Exchange Attracted Great Interest at the Çine International Organic Memecik Olive and Olive Oil Festival

The Aydın Commodity Exchange participated in the 2nd Çine International Organic Memecik Olive and Olive Oil Festival, organized this year under the coordination of the South Aegean Olive and Olive Oil Producers Association.

The opening ceremony of the 2nd Çine International Organic Memecik Olive and Olive Oil Festival, coordinated by the South Aegean Olive and Olive Oil Producers Association in collaboration with the Aydın Commodity Exchange, Aydın Metropolitan Municipality, Çine Municipality, and Çine Chamber of Agriculture, was attended by Fevzi Çondur, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Aydın Commodity Exchange; A. Bahri Erdel, Chairman of the Assembly; Cihan Can, Member of the Board of Directors and Assembly Members Mustafa Akdam, Abdülkadir Yıldız and Mehmet Akkan.

The festival, which began at Çine Town Square with the BODFAD photography exhibition titled “The Wild Journey of the Olive” and a ceremonial parade, was inaugurated with a speech by Fevzi Çondur, Chairman of the Aydın Commodity Exchange. In his address, Çondur emphasized that olives are one of Anatolia's most valuable heritages and an integral part of the region’s culture. He stated, “Aydın Memecik Zeytinyağı, derived from the Memecik olives grown in the fertile lands of our province, holds significant brand value for Aydın and its economy.” Çondur also highlighted the activities of the Aydın Commodity Exchange aimed at supporting the olive and olive oil sector.
