Aydın Commodity Exchange (ATB) Chairman of the Assembly A. Bahri Erdel, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors Cengiz Ülgen, Board Member Kazım Günaydın, Aydın Members of Parliament Mustafa Savaş, Ömer Özmen and Seda Sarıbaş, Aydın Adnan Menderes University (ADÜ) Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Kent, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Cemal İyem and our province's chamber and commodity exchange delegation visited the Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır in his office and had important meetings.

Support Request for Cold Storage

During the visit, the Aydın delegation informed the Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır about the projects implemented and planned in the economy, agriculture and agriculture-based industry sectors of the Aydın province.

Aydın Commodity Exchange Council President A. Bahri Erdel talked about the current work of Aydın Commodity Exchange to Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır. ATB Aydın Soğuk Hava Depoculuk A.Ş., which is planned to be brought to the Köşk district of Aydın with solar energy panels and other renewable energy technologies, will support environmental sustainability, reduce energy costs. Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır stated that they attach importance to the projects implemented by Aydın Commodity Exchange in order to make the best use of the agricultural and industrial potential of Aydın province. Mr. Kacır gave the good news that they appreciated the work carried out by Aydın Commodity Exchange to contribute to the development of the agricultural and industrial sectors of the region and that, as the ministry, they would provide all the necessary support for this project.

Aydın Ticaret Borsası heyetinin de yer aldığı ziyaretin oldukça verimli geçtiğini ve müjdeli haberlerle Aydın’a döndüklerini belirten Aydın Ticaret Borsası Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Fevzi Çondur,” Sayın Bakanımız Mehmet Fatih Kacır'a, Aydın Ticaret Borsası olarak ilimiz ve ülkemiz ekonomisine katkı sağlamayı hedeflediğimiz soğuk hava depomuzun detaylarını ve taleplerimizi ilettik. Talebimiz olumlu karşılandı ve hibe desteği konusunda Sayın Bakanımızla istişarelerde bulunduk. 2024 yılı içinde temelini atmayı planladığımız soğuk hava depomuzu, 2025 yılında faaliyete geçirmeyi hedefliyoruz. Bu desteklerle birlikte, Aydın ilinin tarımsal potansiyelini daha verimli kullanabileceği bir altyapı oluşturarak ekonomik kalkınmaya katkı sağlamayı amaçlıyoruz”dedi.
