Aydın Memecik Olive Oil, was registered as Protected Designation of Origin by Aydın Commodity Exchange, was in Mersin Province to be presented through the days of Tasting and Publicity activities.

The days of Taste and Publicity activities  for Aydın Memecik Olive Oil was realised in Mersin. Accredited by the International Olive Council (IOC), Aydın Commodity Exchange Tasting Panalists held the two- day Aydın Memecik Olive Oil Tasting and Publicity activities to tell consumers about the correct and high quality olive oil use. Aydın Memecik Olive Oil aims to increase brand value and recognition of the registered Aydın  Memecik Olive Oil, obtained from Memecik variety olive native to Aydın province, and its distinguishing features were shared with the consumers. 

Fevzi Çondur, Chairman of Aydın Commodity Exchange, stated for the event that '' Aydın Commodity Exchange, which has carried out important studies to increase the brand value and market share of olives and olive oil, which is an important commodity for our country, has met with many consumers on the occasion of Aydın Memecik Olive Oil Tasting and Promotion Days activities with Protected Designation of Origin obtained from Aydın Memecik type olives specific to our province and distinguished features of quality olive oil. Mr. Çondur added that Aydın Memecik Olive Oil Tasting and Promotion Days event held in Mersin, our Tasting Panalists shared the tasting criteria with the visitors in practice. They aim to increase olive oil consumption of per person with Aydın Memecik Olive Oil Tasting and Promotion Days activities.
