Aydın Commodity Exchange will take part in the Olivia Istanbul Olive Oil Fair and National Summit, which will take place at the Istanbul Expo Center on June 3-5, 2022.
At the Olivia Istanbul Olive Oil Fair and National Summit, which is Turkey's largest festival for olive oil producers, Aydın Commodity Exchange will meet with domestic and foreign visitors.
At the Olivia Istanbul Olive Oil Fair and National Summit, which aims to bring together quality, flawless and high nutritional value olive oil with consumers, Aydın Commodity Exchange will exhibit the branded products of the members of Commodity Exchange at the stand. During the fair, Aydın Commodity Exchange Tasting Panelists, who are accredited by International Olive Council (IOC), will make a protected designation of origin registered Aydın Memecik Olive Oil tasting and the tasting criteria with the distinctive features of quality olive oil will be explained to the visitors.
Fevzi Çondur, Chairman of Aydın Commodity Exchange, making statements about the fair, which is expected to be attended by many national and international visitors, stated that the sector fairs are of great importance for the olive and olive oil sector to work more consciously and more organized in Turkey. Mr. Çondur said, '' Olive oil consumption in our country is mainly concentrated in the Aegean, Marmara and Mediterranean Regions, especially are on the map as to these production. In Central and Eastern Anatolia, this rate is almost non-existent and other oil varieties are consumed under the name of olive oil. Our aim is to create a conscious olive oil consumer with these fair organizations and to prevent the supply of added value olive oil to the market.''
Mr. Çondur stated that Aydın Commodity Exchange Tasting Panelists, who are accredited by the International Olive Council, will have the visitors tasting Aydın Memecik Olive Oil during the fair, which has been registered as a protected designation of origin by Aydın Commodity Exchange and invited the visitors to the stand of him to be informed as to the correct and high quality olive oil consumption.
