1.12.2021 Söke Commodity Exchange, GEKA and Büyük Menderes Agricultural Products Licensed Warehouse A Meeting was held at the Aydın Commoidty Exchange For The Labours
Söke Commodity Exchange Chairman Ahmet Nejat Sağel, Secretary General Hülya Erman Aydoğan, Registrar Serdar Altunkaya, GEKA Aydın Provincial Coordinator Numan Katıksız visited the Aydın Commodity Exchange.
Ahmet Nejat Sağel, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Söke Commodity Exchange, was accompanied by a delegation of Aydın Commodity Exchange Chairman Fevzi Çondur and Secretary General Neslihan Duymaz.
Durin the visiting, a consultation session was held about the current state of Büyük Menderes Licensed Warehousing A.Ş. which is to be constructed in the Argavlı neighborhodd of Söke district with the objective of improving the economy and trade in agricultural products.
Describing Büyük Menderes Licensed Warehousing A.Ş. which is located on 73, 858 m2 land and will ensure the safety and healthy storage of our region’s agricultural products, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aydın Commodity Exchange Fevzi Çondur said: ‘’Licensed Warehouses greatly contribute to the local agricultural activities and regional ecenomy. The link between farmers, merchants and industrialists will be strengthened even further with Büyük Menderes Licensed Warehousing A.Ş. established in partnership with Söke Commodity Exchange and İzmir Commodity Exchange. ‘’
Cotton, a strategic product, plays a key role in the international market and is of great importance for our region. Çondur stated that thanks to the re-attraction of cotton farming by Büyük Menderes Licensed Warehousing A.Ş. the storage and storage of cotton under favorable conditions, cotton has become an important investment fort he cotton industry.
