Aydın Commodity Exchange Board Members Visit Mustafa Gümüş, Director General of Customs

Fevzi Çondur, Chairman of the Aydın Commodity Exchange, along with Ahmet Bahri Erdel, Speaker of the Assembly and Cengiz Ülgen, Vice Chairman, visited Mustafa Gümüş, Director General of Customs at the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Turkey.

During the visit, Fevzi Çondur emphasized that Turkey is the global leader in dried fig exports and raised issues encountered in the export process. He specifically pointed out the challenges faced by exporters when dried figs, for various reasons, return to the country. He highlighted the difficulties caused by customs procedures at the first entry point upon the return of goods, which pose problems for exporters.
