13.02.2025 12th International Aydın Agriculture, Food and Livestock Fair Opens Its Doors to Visitors

The 12th International Aydın Agriculture, Food and Livestock Fair, one of the most significant gatherings in the agriculture, food and livestock sectors, has opened with the participation of 580 brands. The event showcases the latest technologies, products and services, offering valuable business opportunities for both domestic and international companies while aiming to significantly contribute to the region's economy.

The opening ceremony, held at the S.S. 46 Tariş Cotton Sales Cooperative Fairgrounds, was attended by Aydın Governor Yakup Canbolat, Aydın Commodity Exchange Board Chairman Fevzi Çondur and other local officials. In his speech, Governor Canbolat emphasized the fair's contributions to both the regional and national economy. He mentioned that last year, 500 companies participated, generating approximately 2.4 billion TL in commercial agreements and this year, with 580 companies, they aim to exceed last year's success in terms of trade volume and visitor numbers.

Fevzi Çondur, Chairman of Aydın Commodity Exchange, highlighted the significance of the fair for Aydın and the region's agriculture, stating:

"This year, the 12th International Aydın Agriculture, Food and Livestock Fair offers a significant opportunity to develop our province’s agricultural potential, introduce new technologies to producers and promote Aydın’s agricultural products on national and international platforms. We are the third-largest agricultural fair in Turkey in terms of visitor numbers. Last year, we achieved a trade volume of 2.35 billion TL with the participation of 500 companies and over 500,000 visitors. It's encouraging to see an increase in participation with 580 brands this year. We also expect to break new records for visitor numbers. Aydın is a brand city in agriculture and this fair greatly contributes to the sector’s development. I invite all our producers to visit our fair."
