13.05.2022 Fevzi Çondur, Chairman of Aydın Commodity Exchange, Spoke at the 78th Plenary Session Representing The Aegean Region

The 78th General Assembly of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchnages of Turkey (TOBB) took place electronically. 

At the 78th General Assembly of The Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges through electronic media, Aydın Commodity Exchange Parliament Speaker A. Bahri Erdel, Chairman of the Board Fevzi Çondur, TOBB General Assembly Delegates Rıza Uyar, Cengiz Ulgen, Ali Cevik and Secretary General Neslihan Duymaz attended. 

At the 78th Session of General Assembly, attended by TOBB President M. Rıfat Hisarcıklıoglu, TOBB Board Council Members, TOBB Council Presidents and TOBB Delegates from 81 provinces, which were chaired by Necdet Takva, Fevzi Çondur Chairman of Aydın Commodity Exchange, addressed the Aegean Region representing Chambers and Commodity Exchanges.

Fevzi Çondur, Chairman of Aydın Commodity Exchange said that Turkey's Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges, the umbrella organization representing manufacturing, trade, exports, employment and the entire economy of our country, consulted with 365 Chambers and Commodity Exchange management on issues relating to our country's future. 

Mr. Çondur said ''The Aegean Region, which is among the most developed regions of our country, has become a magnet for agriculture, industry, trade volume and tourism. The Aegean Region's Chambers and Commodity Exchanges, which are part of our Union and closely follow the real sector's woes, have worked selflessly for the development of our country's economy. Total exports of $28 billion and $158 million occured in the Aegean Region in 2021, Mr. Çondur added that to the region's economy, agriculture-based industry has added significant value. ''

''Valuable projects have been implemented for the purpose of developing agriculture and industry in our region. Each planned investment aims to contribute regionally to development and the economy of our country. Our Chambers and Commodity Exchanges, led by the president of the Union, M. Rıfat Hisarcıklıoglu, will continue to implement supportive policies of the government and projects focused on production and investment, which significantly supports our country's employment and has great export potantial'' expressed by Mr. Çondur.

Mr. Çondur said that we will follow up to play a role in the development of our region and country, working hard to fulfill our part of the day one as Chambers and Commodity Exchanges in the Aegean Region, to make tomorrow of our country stronger.

Mr. Çondur thanked to M. Rıfat Hisarcıklıoglu, his selfless works, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, TOBB Board of Directors, Council Presidents and members, Board Administrations and Delegates on behalf of the Aegean Region's Chambers and Commodity Exchanges. Fevzi Çondur also said the 78th Session of the General Assembly would be useful to our country, to the TOBB Community and to all of humanity.
