15.07.2022 Parliament Speaker A. Bahri Erdel Participated in Commemorations of the 15 July Martyrs', Democracy and National Unity Day.

Aydın Commodity Exchange Parliament Speaker A. Bahri Erdel took part in a memorial event, marking the 15th July Martyrs' Commemoration, Democracy and National Unity Day, organized by Aydın Governorate to mark the 6th anniversary of the foiled coup d'etat.

On the 6th anniversary of the 15 July renegade cop attempt, Aydın Governorate carried out a program to commemorate martyrs. The program, held at Aydın Tellidede Cemetery, commemorated martyrs and stressed national unity. On 15 July, the Day of Democracy and National Unity, the memorial service organized by Aydın Governorate, Aydın Metropolitan Municipality, Garrison Command, Aydın Martyrs Families and Veterans  Solidarity Association, Aydın Martyrs Families and Association for the Assistance of Disabled Veterans, was laid in wreath.

Expressing his feelings and thoughts about the meaning and importance of the day, Aydın Commodity Exchange Speaker A. Bahri Erdel said ''In the treacherous coup attempt which was not accepted on July 15, 2016, our nation has determined that it will not accept anything other than democracy and nation's future. I wish that this process will never happen again for our country and our nation. I hereby pay tribute to all the martyrs and veterans who died for our national unity and democracy.''
