17.01.2022 The Winners Of Aydın Memecik Naturel Extra-Virgin- Olive Oil Announced In International Agriculture, Food and Livestock Fair

Aydın Memecik Naturel Extra Virgin Olive Oil Quality Competition Award Ceremony was held by Aydın Commodity Exchange Tasting Panel within the scope of 9th Aydın International Agricultural Food and Livestock Fair.

Aydın Memecik Naturel Extra Virgin Olive Oil Quality Competition award ceremony was attended by Aydın Commodity Exchange Assembly Speaker A. Bahri Erdel, Chairman of the Board Fevzi Çondur and Vice Chairman Cengiz Ülgen, Secretary General Neslihan Duymaz, Aydın Commodity Exchange Tasting Panalists, KOSGEB Aydın Provincial Manager Sadullah Dülger, companies participating in the competition and fair visitors.

Yusuf Küçük, Chairman of the Tasting Panel of Aydın Commodity Exchange, stated that Aydın Memecik Olive Oil was the first competition held in Aydın Memecik Olive Oil after receiving the Protected Designation of Origin. Mr. Küçük said that we have determined who produces the best in our region by organizing the Aydın Memecik Naturel Extra Virgin Olive Oil Quality Competition. In general, the quality of oils throughout our country was not very good due to the fact that the weather was very dry during the last summer period. But we've got some great oils for the competition. In particular, I would like to congratulate our gold and premium award winners. They've produced some really great oils. Mr. Küçük, wishing the competition would be more widely attended next year, expressed his thanks to the companies participating in the competition and Aydın Commodity Exchange Tasting Panalists who contributed to the competition. 

Fevzi Çondur, spoke at the ceremony of Aydın Memecik Naturel Extra Virgin Olive Oil Quality Competition held at the 9th Aydın International Agriculture, Food and Livestock Fair, Chairman of Aydın Commodity Exchange, thanked the companies that participated in the quality competition organized to increase the awareness of Aydın Memecik Olive Oil, was registered by Aydın Commodity Exchange and applied for EU registration, on a national and international platform.

Mr. Çondur said that '' Aydın Memecik Naturel Extra Virgin Olive Oil Quality Competition, which was organized in particular for our producers producing Aydın Memecik Olive Oil, especially our olive oil companies producing packaged, was rated by our panalists with objective evaluation. We announce the results of these tastes in every year at fair. In our comptition, which was attended by companies operating within the borders of Aydın province, 4 companies were awarded bronze medals, 4 companies were awarded silver medals, 8 companies received gold medals and 2 companies received Premium awards.''

Stating that the companies participating in the competition have received awards in olive oil tasting competitions held in Europe and around the world, Mr. Çondur expressed that Aydın Memecik Olive Oil is seperated from other oils with its unique aroma and fruity taste and is in high demand. With such competitions held at national and international level, Aydın Memecik Olive Oil, which is registered as a protected designation of origin, stated that they aim to increase the awareness and brand value of olive oil

After the speeches, all companies participating in the competition were given certificates of participation and awards were presented to the winners of Bronze, Silver, Gold and Premium by Aydın Commodity Exchange Assembly Speaker A. Bahri Erdel, Chairman of the Board Fevzi Çondur and Vice Chairman Cengiz Ülgen.
