First tasting and promotion days event of Aydın Memecik Zeytinyağı (Olive Oil), which received European Union geographical indication registration by the Aydın Commodity Exchange on February 5, 2024, was Nevsehir in 2024.

At the 2 day Aydın Memecik Olive Oil Tasting and Promotion Days event, consumers were informed about the distinguishing features of correct and high-quality olive oil by Aydın Commodity Exchange Tasting Panelists, accredited by the International Olive Council (IOC).

Avrupa Birliği coğrafi işaret tescili alınan Aydın Memecik Zeytinyağının tadım ve tanıtım etkinliğine dair açıklamada bulunan Aydın Ticaret Borsası Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Fevzi Çondur,  “Ülkemiz için önemli bir emtia olan zeytin ve zeytinyağının marka değerinin ve pazar payının artmasına yönelik önemli çalışmalarda bulunan Borsamız,  ilimize özgü Aydın Memecik türü zeytininden elde edilen Avrupa Birliği coğrafi işaret tescilli Aydın Memecik Zeytinyağı Tadım ve Tanıtım Günleri etkinlikleriyle birçok tüketici ile bir araya gelmiş ve kaliteli zeytinyağının ayırt edici özellikleri konusunda tüketicileri bilinçlendirmiştir.

Fevzi Condur, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aydın Commodity Exchange, made a statement about the tasting and promotion event of Aydın Memecik Zeytinyağı, which has received European Union geographical indication registration stated that Aydın Commodity Exchange, which carries out important studies to increase the brand value and market share of olives and olive oil, which are important commodities for our country, is Aydın Memecik, unique to our city.
