18.04.2024 The Awards of the Aydın Memecik Zeytinyağı Extra Virgin Quality Competition Found Their Owners

At the 11th International Aydın Agriculture, Food, and Livestock Fair, the Award Ceremony for the Aydın Memecik Zeytinyağı Extra Virgin Quality Competition, organized by the Aydın Commodity Exchange Tasting Panel, was held.

The award ceremony for the Aydın Memecik Zeytinyağı Extra Virgin Quality Competition was attended by Fevzi Çondur, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aydın Commodity Exchange, A. Bahri Erdel, the President of the Assembly, Vice President of the Assembly Rıza Uyar, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Cengiz Ülgen, Assembly Members Mehmet Ali Avcu and Mehmet Akkan, General Secretary Neslihan Duymaz, Yusuf Küçük, the Head of the AYTB Olive Oil Tasting Panel, participating companies, and fair visitors.

Speaking at the award ceremony of the Aydın Memecik Extra Virgin Olive Oil Quality Competition held at the 11th International Aydın Agriculture, Food, and Livestock Fair, Fevzi Çondur, the Chairman of  Aydın Commodity Exchange, thanked the companies participating in the quality competition, which aims to increase the visibility of Aydın Memecik Olive Oil nationally and internationally and has been registered in the European Union by Aydın Commodity Exchange.

Mr. Condur stated that the journey of olive and olive oil quality reflects the characteristics of the geography where olives are grown, including agricultural activities, harvesting, processing, storage, and transportation. He said, 'The Aydın Memecik Zeytinyağı Extra Virgin Quality Competition, which is organized specifically for producers of Aydın Memecik Zeytinyağı and olive oil companies engaged in packaged production, was evaluated objectively by our panelists. As we do every year, we announced the competition results at our fair. This year, bronze medals were awarded to one company, silver medals to three companies, gold medals to four companies, and premium awards to two companies participating in our competition, which was attended by companies operating within our province's borders.'"
