Aydın Commodity Exchange Assembly President A. Bahri Erdel and Vice Chairman of the Board Cengiz Ülgen Attended the Opening Ceremony of Aydın Adnan Menderes University’s 2024-2025 Academic Year, with the Participation of the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Mr. Numan Kurtulmuş.
In his speech, Aydın Adnan Menderes University Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Kent expressed their goal to further enhance the quality of education in the new academic year and increase the international experiences of both students and academic staff. He stated, “In line with these objectives, Aydın Adnan Menderes University will continue to shape the future of our country with its strong infrastructure, qualified academic staff, and visionary approach. Our investments in data science and our measurable, verifiable work discipline have made us leaders in both Turkey and the world. Recently, data released by national and international ranking organizations has been a significant source of motivation for us.”
The Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Prof. Dr. Numan Kurtulmuş began his speech by expressing his pleasure in attending the Academic Year Opening Ceremony of Aydın Adnan Menderes University, a key day for the city of Aydın, the land of Efeler, and home to the heroic Yörük Ali Efe and the late Prime Minister Adnan Menderes, whose name is forever etched in Turkish Democracy History. “It is both a great honor and responsibility for me to participate in this important meeting under the shadow of a city whose history is marked by such great figures,” said Prof. Dr. Numan Kurtulmuş.
Aydın Commodity Exchange Assembly President A. Bahri Erdel, commenting on the ceremony, said, "Being present at the opening ceremony of the 2024-2025 academic year at Aydın Adnan Menderes University is an important responsibility for us. Universities play a critical role in the development and growth of a city. As the Aydın Commodity Exchange, we will continue our efforts to contribute to education and the future of our youth.
