Seroliva: A Family Business in Olive Oil Production

Oliva Gıda San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. was founded in 2007 by Servet Altay as a family-owned olive oil producer in Söke, Aydın. Before officially launching the SEROLİVA brand and its line of exquisite olive oils, the company conducted extensive R&D for three years, both domestically and internationally. In November 2010, production officially began at the factory.

The company is involved in every step of the process, from olive harvesting to reaching the end consumer. With its high-quality products, Seroliva quickly gained recognition and has received numerous national and international awards.

With a production capacity of 100 tons of organic and 1,000 tons of conventional cold-pressed olive oil, Seroliva provides a source of quality olive oil to thousands of consumers both domestically and internationally.

Oliva Gıda operates in various sectors, including olive farming, olive oil production, storage, bottling, labeling, and marketing. The company sells SEROLİVA branded products both wholesale and retail and continues to invest in expanding its production capacity, product variety, and sales network.

In 2017, to ensure consumers could enjoy the organic certified olives produced in-house, the company began producing and marketing these products for their customers' tables.

Seroliva Factory

Seroliva's eco-friendly, two-phase continuous olive oil factory began operations in November 2010 in Söke, Aydın. The facility started with a daily processing capacity of 40 tons of olives, focusing on producing 100% cold-pressed olive oil. To enhance the production of high-quality olive oil, the factory added a second production line in its second year, dedicated to processing only organic certified fresh olives. This expansion increased the total daily processing capacity to 80 tons.

The factory features antibacterial epoxy coatings on its floors and walls, preventing the growth of mold and bacteria. The architectural design of the production area is specifically tailored to protect against harmful factors such as dust, microorganisms, sunlight, and humidity, ensuring a clean and safe environment for olive oil production.

To produce the highest quality olive oil, Seroliva manages a 2,500-decare organic certified olive grove with 25,000 ancient olive trees. The entire process— from the care of the trees and harvesting the olives to transporting them to the factory for production and bottling—is fully controlled by the company.

The facilities span a total area of 650 square meters of enclosed space, 400 square meters of semi-enclosed space and 6,000 square meters of open area. Equipped with ecological olive oil machinery, the factory has a daily processing capacity of 80 tons of olives. Additionally, it features a stainless steel nitrogen-pressurized storage area with a capacity of 270 tons, as well as a laboratory and semi-automatic filling and labeling units.

Seroliva holds multiple certifications, including ISO 9001:2008, ISO 22000:2005, and organic certifications from CONTROL UNION for Turkey (TR), the United States (USDA), Europe (EUR), and Japan (JAS). The company continues to invest in quality and capacity enhancements.
