22.07.2022 Aydın Commodity Exchange Met with The Members

Aydın Commodity Exchange, which operates according to the demands, advice and expectations of the members, shared the activities of own contributing to the economy of our city and country with the members all around.

Fevzi Condur, Chairman of Aydın Commodity Exchange, outlined the activities and projects that have been planned in accordance with the needs, demands and expectations in the ''Member Information and Consultation Meeting.''

Mr. Condur stated that among 113 Commodity Exchanges in our country, the top 20 listed as a registered trading size, 2th in Aegean Region was accredited in 2010, with a 5 star Commodity labour.

Fevzi Condur, Chairman of Aydın Commodity Exchange, mentioned that Aydın Commodity Exchange participates in many projects for the development of our provincial and regional economy such as (TURIB), TMO TOBB LIDAS Inc., Büyük Menderes Agricultural Products Licensed Warehouse Inc., Aydın Commodity Exchange Aydın Cold Storage Warehouse Inc., Customs and Tourism Enterprises Inc.,Cine Olive Oil Licensed Warehouse Guided Project and Agro-Organized Industrial Zones

2.Soğuk Hava Deposu için Adımlar Atıldı

2020 yılında Aydın Ticaret Borsası üyelerinin hizmetine sunulan ATB Aydın Soğuk Hava Depoculuk A.Ş’nin mevcut çalışmaları hakkında borsa üyelerini bilgilendiren Çondur, 2020 yılından bu zamana kadar yaklaşık 6 Milyon Kg ürün depolandığını ifade etti. Çondur, ilimizin doğusunda planlanan 2.soğuk hava deposu projesi içinde gerekli adımların atıldığını belirtti.

2. Steps Taken To Cold Storage 

Informing the members of the current labours of Aydın Commodity Exchange Cold Storage Inc., which was made available to the members in 2020, Condur said that about million kg of products had been stored so far in 2020. Mr. Condur stated the steps have been taken within the planned second cold storage project to the east of our province. 

Mr.Condur, ”We've Completed Our Meetings for A New Fairground Allocation''        

Stating that the members of the Aydın Commodity Exchange aim to increase their cooperation and market share, and that they have participated in many national and international fairs, Mr. Condur announced that they brought together sector representatives at the 9th Aydın International Agriculture, Food and Livestock Fair held in January 2022 and that they participated in Turkey's top 5 agricultural fairs with hot sales of 200 million Turkish Liras. 

Mr. Condur, stated the meetings with the competent authorities have been completed and that they aim to bring together the sector represenattives in the new exhibition area as soon as possible to enable more international companies to participate in the Aydın International Agriculture, Food and Livestock Fair and to organize panels for the sector at the time of the fair in order to organize the new fairground allocation.

Mr. Condur, '' We Are Going on Our Labours For The Increased Brand Value of Our Provincial Products''

Stating that our prefecture's locomotive agricultural products such as figs, chestnuts, olives, olive oil and three local product outlets, east, west and south of Aydın, are planned for the ultimate consumer meeting, Mr. Condur informed the members of Aydın Commodity Exchange about the Market Place project, which would bring together exporters, merchants and producers on a common platform.

Fevzi Condur introduced to the Commodity Exchange's members the Aydın Local Platform website which was implemented to the development of trade cooperation among each other.

Mr. Condur, who stated that they had met with the members at industry meetings to discuss problems, solutions and demands, streesed that members' proposals and demands have demonstrated selfless dedication to public opinion as a result of the meeting.

Mr. Condur, ''The Agricultural Quarantine Directorates Should Be Opened to Aydın''

Fevzi Condur, explained that exporters had communicated their distress to the authorities, amd they were following the issue since the lack of an Agricultural Quarantine Directorate in Aydın. 

Mr. Condur,“ We aim to Increase the Number of Registered Products in European Union for our city to 4”

Fevzi Condur, Chairman of Aydın Commodity Exchange, informed members of the registration process for Aydın Chestnut, Aydın Memecik Olive Oil, Aydın Memecik Olive, Aydın Yamalak Olive and Aydın Pine Nut, which has been registered under Turkish Patent and Brand Institution and related institutions by Aydın Commodity Exchange.

Mr. Condur explained that Aydın Chestnut is the 4th PDO of Turkey in EU and they also applied for the EU, PDO for Aydın Memecik Olive Oil and Aydın Memecik Olive adding that Aydın province aims to increase the number of products in the EU to fourth.

With the support of Aydın Commodity Exchange's members, the organization would goon to work with the excitement and perseverance of the first day, as their staff came together with many institutions.
