A. Bahri Erdel, Aydın Commodity Exchange Speaker of Parliament participated in the celebration programme organized by Turkish Governorate on the day of the National Sovereignty and Children's Day on 23 April, the 102nd anniversary of the founding of Grand National Assembly of Turkey and the guarantee of our Republic. 

The National Sovereignty and Children's Day celebrations began on April 23 with the Wreath Launching ceremony at the Atatürk Monument in front of the Turkish Governor's Office of the 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day celebration.

Going on  his speeches and events concerning the meaning and importance of the day, Parliament Speaker A. Bahri Erdel, '' We are delighted to celebrate with great honor and enthusiasm the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Turkish Parliament and the proclamation of our sovereignty. With the opening of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey representing the future of the Turkish nation, determined and a milestone for the Turkish country. At the same time, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk gave this important day to our children who are the guarantees of the future. With these sentiments and reflections in mind the indivisible unity of our country, I commemorate the National Day of Sovereignty and Children's Day, April 23rd, the founding anniversary of the Turkish Parliament, with respect and gratitude to our most beloved martyrs, especially the great leader, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and his fellow fighters,'' he said.
