The Chairman of the Aydın Commodity Exchange Assembly, A. Bahri Erdel, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Cengiz Ülgen, Aydın Member of Parliament, Mustafa Savaş, and Huriye Özener, who serves as the geographical indication consultant for the Aydın Commodity Exchange, visited Prof. Doc. Muhammed Zeki Durak, President of the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, and Hakan Kızıltepe, Head of the Geographical Indications Department.

During the visit, discussions were held regarding the geographically indicated products that have been registered by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office and those whose registration processes are ongoing. Aydın Commodity Exchange Assembly Chairman, A. Bahri Erdel, emphasized that through their geographical indication efforts, they continue to contribute to increasing the brand value of Aydın's agricultural products, which in turn helps these products gain a broader presence in both national and international markets.
