26.11.2023 Aydın Commodity Exchange Celebrated World Olive Day with the Students of Aydın Commodity Exchange Science and Art Center

In cooperation with Aydın Commodity Exchange and Köstem Olive Oil Museum, the Olive Children's Festival was organized with '' Little Hands Meet Art'' titled. 

With the initiative of the International Olive Council (IOC) and the decision taken by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the olive tree is an Intangible Cultural On November 26, which was added to the heritage list and declared World Olive Tree Day, Aydın Commodity Exchange Science and Art Center students celebrated World Olive Day.

Stating that the importance of destination points of the city in terms of olive and olive oil heritage, Guler Kostem came together with the students of Aydın Commodity Exchange Science and Art Center due to the meaning and importance of the day. Mrs. Kostem said that olives are valuable both for health and because they symbolize peace,added that they all grew up with olives and they continue to live with them.

“The olive tree is one of the most beautiful inheritances we will leave to you, our precious children, who are the most beautiful architects of our future" stated by Mrs. Kostem.

Fevzi Çondur, Chairman of Aydın Commodity Exchange, stated that the olive tree is one of the most important symbols of peace, wisdom and hope and made statements about World Olive Day, celebrated every year by UNESCO.
