Aydın Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Ibrahim Altıntas visited Aydın Commodity Exchange.

During the visit, consultations were held on agricultural production, in 2023, in Aydın province and production planning for 2024 like organizing trainings to inform producers. Unfair competition has arisen as a result of the introduction of chestnuts imported from China in recent years, instead of the Aydın Kestanesi, which is among the important agricultural products of our city and region and has received the European Union Protected Designation of Origin by the Aydın Commodity Exchange and the measures that should be taken to prevent this situation were discussed.
