Fevzi Çondur, Chairman of The Board of Aydın Commodity Exchange, participated in the TOBB Aegean and Marmara Regional Meeting, which was holded by M. Rıfat Hisarcıklıoğlu, president of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey.
The Aegean and Marmara Region meeting, chaired by M. Rıfat Hisarcıklıoğlu, president of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), was held in consultations with the heads of regional chambers/exchanges. Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu explained that since the beginning of the pandemic, all chambers/Commodity Exchanges have taken the pulse of their members, and he has received information from the Head of the Regional Chambers and Exchanges and conveyed the problems of the Turkish business world to the relevant authorities.
Stating that they are doing their best to turn the economic circle, President Hisarcıklıoğlu shared the details of his recent meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan with the Chamber/Commodity Exchanges heads. Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu informed the Chamber/Commodity Exchange heads about the initiatives and projects carried out by TOBB. During the meeting, which focused on the problmes in sectors and locally, Chamber/Commodity Exchanges conveyed their problems and solution proposals to TOBB President M. Rıfat Hisarcıklıoğlu.
Fevzi Çondur, Chairman of Aydın Commodity Exchange, pointed out the problem caused by the long term vat refunds and tax offset periods at the meeting and stated that vat refunds and offset transactions should be prevented from spreading over a long period of time by the tax authorities and that would be better to complete swiftly the related transactions.
Deferment and Configuration Proposal For Loan Payments
Stating that some sectors may experience difficulties and be affected in negative way by this process with full closure process, Mr. Çondur presented to TOBB President M. Rıfat Hisarcıklıoğlu that is correct decision to postpone or restructure credit payments for sectors that are having difficulties in their business with full closure.
Credit Support For Firms
Stating that sector firms are experiencing difficulties in the difficulty of the borrowing process in banks, Mr. Çondur stated that interest rates should be controlled and financial support should be provided for production for companies that are short of cash and need credit support.
Mr. Çondur, Board Chairman of Aydın Commodity Exchange, stated that they conveyed the member problems identified in order to reduce negative effects of the epidemic process on th ecenomy and the solution proposals for these problems to TOBB President M.
