30.05.2022 Aydın Commodity Exchange Drew Intense Interest In Olivtech Fair

Aydın Commodity Exchange participated at Olivtech Olive, Olive Oil, Dairy Products, Wine and Technology Fair held 10th to this year.

Aydın Commodity Exchange Speaker A. Bahri Erdel, Vice President Rıza Uyar, Vice Chairman of Directors Cengiz Ulgen and Assembly Member Mustafa Akdam participated in the 10th Olivtech Olive, Olive Oil, Dairy Products, Wine and Technology Fair organized by IZFAS and hosted by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality.

Domestic and foreign visitors visiting the 10th Olivtech, Olive Oil, Dairy Products, Wine and Technology Fair were hold the distinctive features of Aydın Memecik Olive Oil by Olive Oil Taster, Aydın Commodity Exchange Panelists, accredited by the International Olive Council (IOC) at the stand of Aydın Commodity Exchange. The characteristics that should be in quality olive oil were conveyed and information was given about correct olive oil consumption. In tha fair where all skateholders of the sector came together, branded products were exhibited at the Aydın Commodity Exchange stand in order for the members of the Commodity Exchange to meet with domestic and foreign new buyers and evaluate new market opportunities. 

Fevzi Çondur, Chairman of Aydın Commodity Exchange, who made an evaluation about the fair, emphasized that olive and olive oil brands should be increased with olive oil consumption each city in our country. Mr. Çondur said,'' As Aydın Commodity Exchange, we hold on our efforts to increase the market share and brand value of Aydın Memecik Olive Oil, for which we have obtained Protected Designation of Origin, and we would aim to increase olive oil consumption with tasting and promotion of Aydın Memecik Olive Oil that we have realized in many national and international fairs we've participated. Domestic and foreign visitors who visited Olivtech Olive, Olive Oil, Dairy Products, Wine and Technology Fair, which was held for 10th times thi year, drew great interest in stand of our Commodity Exchange and the branded products of our members. The  distinctive features of Aydın Memecik Olive Oil, which was registered as a geographical indication by our Commodity Exchange and for which the European Union Protected Designation of Origin was registered, were conveyed to the visitors by our taster panelists by explaining the features and tasting criteria that should not be in quality olive oil to the visitors.''

Stating that Olivtech Fair, where companies in the olive and olive oil production chain are exhibitors and come together with domestic and foreign buyers, is an important fair on behalf of the olive and olive oil sector, Mr. Çondur expressed his pleasure to be at the fair and thanked those who contributed.
