With the right to Information Law published in the Official Gazette dated October 24, 2003 and numbered 25269, and accordingly, the Regulation on The Principles and Procedures regarding the Implementation of the Right to Information Law published in the Official Gazette dated April 27, 2004 and numbered 25445; the applications regarding the application procedures and methods to be made within the framework of this Law are arranged in detail. According to this regulation;
REFERENCE METHOD:
The application of knowledge acquisition by natural and legal persons; for natural persons a name who is applicant and his/her address, for legal persons are needed his/her degree, address with the petition that includes authorization certificate. Also it is made to the information acquisition units of the institutions and organizations where the requested information or document is located.
REFERENCE ELECTRONICALLY:
Applications to be made by e-mail are made by filling out the relevant petitions published on the page of the institutions, stating the applicant’s first name, surname, residence, T.R. identification number.
ELIGIBILITY OF INFORMATION OR DOCUMENTS TO BE REQUESTED:
The information application must be related to the documents that are in the hands of the institutions and organizations applied for or must be found. However, it is essential that the information or documents requested by the petition are in the records of institutions and organizations, that the process of accessing information and documents does not disrupt the daily work of the institution or organization and does not impose an unreasonable burden on the institution.
PUBLISHED OR PUBLICLY DISCLOSED INFORMATION AND DOCUMENTS:
Information and documents published by institutions and organizations or made public by publications, brochures, advertisements and similar means cannot be subject to information acquisition applicants.
INFORMATION AND DOCUMENTS RELEASE LAW:
According to the regulation, media outlets can not reproduce or use the information and documents accessed within the framework of the procedures and principles specified in the Law and regulation for commercial purpose. It can not publish information and documents without permission from the institution and organization providing it.
ACCEPTANCE OF THE REFERENCES, EVALUATE AND IN PROCESS
In order to accept the application petitions, it is essential to apply in accordance with the law. In order to complete the petition, information authorities in institutions and organizations are asked for help. For applications to be made electronically, after the T.R. identification number is checked and verified, the petition is processed.
HELP FOR APPLICANT:
The authorities in the information. Acquisition unit are obliged to assist and guide the applicant in exercise of their rights.
