June 22,2021- Aydın Commodity Exchange attended the Aegean Olive and Olive Oil Exporters’ Association General Meeting

Aydın Commodity Exchange President of Assembly A. Bahri Erdel, Chairman of The Board Fevzi Çondur, Vice Chairman Cengiz Ülgen and Board Member Yakup Er attended the Aegean Olive and Olive Oil Exporters’ Association General Meeting.

At the meeting that occured The Chairman of Aegean Olive and Olive Oil Expoters’ Association (EZZIB) Davut Er stated that they will reach a new export record at the end of the 2020-2021 season. EZZIB Chairman Davut Er reported at the general meeting that $ 105 million was made from olive exports and $72 million from olive oil exports in the 2020/2021 season, two third of which were behind in olive farming.

According to a statement from the EIB, EZZIB’s 2021 work program was adopted in the financial general assembly and the budget for 2021 was set at 2,250,000 liras.

Fevzi Çondur, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aydın Commodity Exchange, who attended the meeting hosted by the Aegean Olive and Olive Oil Exporters Association, stated that the Aydın Commodity Exchange continues to work with Aegean Olive and Olive Oil Exporters Associations in terms of olive oil production, consumption and export as well as the efforts to increase the domestic consumption of olives and olive oil, and hopes that the general assembly meeting will be good for all members.
