Strategic Plan

AYDIN COMMODITY EXCHANGE prepared own first strategic plan covering the years 2010-2012 within the scope of the TOBB Accreditation System, which it joined in 2010, and successfully achieved the goals set out in this plan. Subsequently, strategic plans for the periods 2013-2016 and 2017-2021 were prepared and implemented. The aim of the work initiated in 2021 is to determine the Strategic Goals and Objectives for the years 2022-2026. In this context, "Strategic Planning" has been adopted as a key tool to ensure planned service delivery, policy development, basing services on specified work programs and budgets, and effectively monitoring and evaluating implementation.

Strategic planning aims to enhance financial management on one hand, while on the other, supporting the development and strengthening of corporate culture and identity. In order to determine the Strategic Goals and Objectives for the years 2022-2026, the results of previous Strategic Plan implementations, as well as an overall evaluation of Aydın province and AYDIN COMMODITY EXCHANGE, were carried out. After identifying stakeholders, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and potential threats were identified. Based on the analyses conducted, goals and objectives were set to use the strengths and opportunities for development, address the weaknesses, and eliminate the threats.

In line with the defined objectives, targets for "the desired destination" were established, and the strategies for achieving these targets were set out. The report, prepared within this framework, forms the basis for business plans that include long-term goals (4 or more years), as well as the allocation of resources, timing, and the assignment of responsibilities.

A Strategic Planning Team was established to carry out the preparation of the Strategic Plan. The Strategic Planning Team conducts its activities with the aim of raising awareness among management and employees regarding strategic management concepts and increasing coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

During the strategic plan period, at a meeting held with the Accreditation Monitoring Committee, strategic planning team members were selected on a voluntary basis, with at least one person representing each department. During the preparation phase of the strategic plan, the team members met every two weeks to draft the plan. The meetings were recorded through meeting minutes. After the preparation of the strategic plan, it was submitted to the Board of Directors for approval. Following the approval of the plan, it was communicated to stakeholders through various channels (printed materials, web, etc.).

After the strategic plan was approved by the Board of Directors, monitoring activities were carried out through monthly personnel meetings and quarterly Accreditation Monitoring Committee meetings.
